When we created HWKR we decided to showcase some of the fantastic flavours of Malay cuisine. These dishes can be eaten in almost every state of Malaysia, and hawker Centres all over Singapore. Our dishes may not be super authentic but the flavours will hit you right where they need to be. Enjoy…stack your plates.

This traditional dish is a classic and can be found all over Malaysia. We start of with a generous portion of Coconut pandan rice, Crispy Anchovies, Roasted Peanuts, Boiled egg, sambal, krupuk and fresh cucumbers served with our street style fried chicken.

Our chicken is first marinated in an array of exotic spices before being grilled to perfection. We serve these large satay with a generous portion of coconut pandan rice, crisp cucumbers, chunky onions and served with our specially prepared peanut sauce - six per order.

We start off with our handmade hokkien style noodles and toss them in a wok with eggs, prawns, fish cake slices and fresh bean sprouts, a bit of sambal and our own stir fry sauces.

This Malaysian-style fried rice starts with a spicy sambal. We then add our marinated chicken, beautiful local prawns, long beans, fried shallots and top it off with a farm raised local egg.

Curry laksa is also known as curry mee. We use our own homemade noodles in a delicious coconut-based curry broth. Tofu, chicken, shrimp, and bean sprouts are added on top of the dish. This dish can be eaten almost in every state of Malaysia, and hawker Centres all over Singapore.
